Just back from the market

So my mom ditched me today for farmer’s market and grocery shopping and iced lattes, the whole nine yards.  Who does she think she is enjoying herself at a swank inn and attending a family wedding and feeling great in her newly purchased duds?  Gosh.  So I went by myself, because with or without mom to shop with, we have to eat.  The menu for this week is as follows:

Sunday

Grilled swordfish steaks marinated in Italian vinaigrette with lemon and grilled corn on the cob

Monday

Grilled fillet of beef (with Montreal steak seasoning, of course) and steamed summer squash

Tuesday

Chicken pasta purses with steamed green beans

Wednesday

Burgers (beef for him and veggie for me topped with sauteed portabella mushrooms and Swiss cheese) and cucumber sticks

Thursday

Country style pork ribs, bone in (cooked in the crock pot with garlic and horseradish mustard and brown sugar) with steamed broccoli

Friday

Grilled chicken breasts with asparagus and lemon ravioli
