Curried Chick Pea Snack

 

1 can chick peas

Olive oil

Salt

Pepper

Curry powder

Garlic powder

 

Preheat the oven to 400 degrees.

 

Open the can of beans, drain and rinse them.

 

Put a large frying pan over a medium heat and add about 2 Tablespoons of olive oil and sprinkle in 1 teaspoon curry powder.

 

Spread the beans out in a single layer in the bottom of the frying pan, and roll them around to coat lightly with oil. 

 

Lightly salt and pepper the beans, and sprinkle another teaspoon of curry powder on as well as ½ teaspoon of garlic powder.

 

Spread the beans out in a single layer on a baking sheet and pop them into the oven for about 20 minutes.  The result will be slightly dry, very flavorful beans to snack on by the handful.
