Happy birthday wishes go out to baby sista Becca today.

We lost our oldest and most beloved fish, Fatty, this morning.  We’re not sure yet of the cause of death, but he went downhill in a quick 24 hours.  We will surely miss him. He would do tricks at mealtimes, summersaults and rolls, just like many other types of pets. ...

It’s beautiful sleeping weather where we awake to a cool, crisp morning.  Such morning are completely deserving of hot cereals.  Both Sunday and Monday I breakfasted on the perfect bowl of oatmeal (with cinnamon, raisins, cranberries, pecans, honey, and a splash of cream).  Today I had cream of wheat drizzled...

It’s finally here.  Thank goodness.  This has been a trying week (at least inside my head). The weather outside is beautiful.  I am free from figuring out what to cook tonight (which is good because I hadn’t planned enough meals for the week anyway) as my mother-in-law has invited us...
