A killer in our midst

So when Fatty died last week we had suspicions that it was not of natural causes.  Since his body was found inside of Leroy’s lair (the castle) it was somewhat likely that Leroy had killed him and dragged the carcass in there for whatever reason.
Yesterday I was doing some cleaning around the aquarium and noticed that one of our three big black fish was no longer black.  He had faded to silver and was hanging out at the bottom of the tank.  He had a large tear in one of his rear fins, right up close to his body.  I called Chris and told him that I didn’t think this fish was going to make it more than 48 hours.  Low and behold, Chris came home before 8:00 and looked for the hurt fish only to find him inside the castle, dead.  Coincidence, I think not.   Leroy is a murderer.
In health news today, my back is much better.  I was able to lift this morning, business as usual.  On the flip side, I have a muscle that’s kinked up in the back of my left thigh like a golf ball.  It bothers me when I walk, but is mostly ignorable.  It feels awesome when I dig a couple of fingers way deep into it, so I do that every so often.
Last night’s dinner ended up being tuna casserole.  It’s a dish that I like a lot, and Chris can’t even stand the smell of.  Perfect choice!  I also roasted up an acorn squash and packed it full of bread stuffing for lunch today.  I brought one for Ger too, since nobody’s home to cook for him this week (except for Chef Boyardee).  Don’t want him getting all toxic on takeout food….

  1. Woohoo! I was going to eat that nice piece of gum at the bottom of my shoe, but this is way better! Sorry Chef Boyardee, I’m sure our paths will cross again.
