So I made that cake a few weeks back for our friend Steve. It was four layers of banana cake, smothered in ganache and topped with salted peanuts, remember?So I had run across a recipe for banana cookies in recent months and was ready to try it since my bananas had faded to black. The cookie looks similar to a chocolate chipper once baked, but has a cakey consistency.
Next I whipped up a batch of ganache and topped lots of the cookies with that.
And then I chopped some salted peanuts and rolled some of the ganached cookies in those.
I brought most of the cookies in to work and the reviews were good. All cookies had disappeared into tummies in less than two hours
