It’s not so easy to detoxify one’s body from the Thanksgiving gluttony as one would think. There’s all that butter to work out of the arteries. And the sugar highs that are sorely missed. There’s the seeming lack of selection at each meal following because there aren’t 19 different dishes for me to choose from. It’s rough.
I’m back to salads, soups (thanks to Sarah) , non-fat yogurt and cottage cheese, blah, blah, blah. It all used to be so satisfying. Now it seems like muddling through and just remembering the endless days of last week filled with fats and sweets….
