Dinner yumminess

Right now there is a 2.39 lb. chicken roasting in our oven, stuffed with fresh onion, garlic, leek, and thyme, and surrounded by baby red potatoes that took a quick dip in some olive oil, salt and pepper, with a few whole cloves of garlic.  To go with we’ll have some steamed asparagus.  I cannot wait to eat!

  1. sweet! i can’t wait to eat mine too.. it’s gonna be ready in about 15 minutes. i marinated mine in greek yogurt mixed with thyme, rosemary, salt, pepper, crushed red pepper and dry mustard. it’s stuffed w/ celery, garlic, carrots and shallots and roasting with red peppers, shallots, carrots and fingerling potatoes. when it comes out of the oven, i’m gonna puree the shallots, red peppers, pan juices and a little goat cheese to make a sauce to go with. yum!!

  2. Sounds yummy – but where are the pics of your backsplash?! Been waiting….. 😉

  3. the naked lady needed to be grouted before she could be photographed. i finished that last night and just cleaned her up this morning. she’ll be ready for the photo shoot tonight, me-thinks.
