Edumacation

So I registered yesterday for three more workshops yesterday with SCORE.  One is “Effective Selling Utilizing Market Research”, the second is “Writing a Business Plan” and the third is a “Women’s Business Owners’ Roundtable” (which I hope Sarah will be attending with me).  The workshops are inexpensive and are all conducted by folks who know what they’re talking about.  The marketing one is being done by a local guy who owns a very successful direct mailing business.  The business plan one is offered once every month so it’s done by one of the SCORE volunteer staff (which consists of retired entrepreneurs).  The third is a meeting of all kinds of women in business, some will present and many will listen.  Let’s see what I can learn from these, and with whom I can network.  Maybe I’ll find someone in my field who is willing to take me under their wing.
